My first mix of 2021. I started with a reggae song from 1988 called, "Fun Time Dey Yah". If you think it sounds familiar, it's because it gained cult popularity when it was used in one of the parody FENSLERFILM G.I. Joe PSAs, a few years ago. One of my favorite beats of 2020 was from the song "Ice Cream" by BLACKPINK featuring Selena Gomez. I knew that I wanted to use elements to make the song have a familiar sound..but, just a touch. The result is this bass hitting version.
